1. Data we collect
Account data: Email address, username (avatar name), and password (stored securely via our auth provider).
Profile data: Avatar choice, display preferences, theme settings, and optional BoardGameGeek username for collection import.
Game data: Games you own, play history, scores, session photos (premium), and notes you add to games.
Social data: Friends list, game night events, and in-app chat messages.
Payment data: Premium subscription is processed by Stripe; we do not store your full payment card details. We store subscription status and billing-related identifiers to provide premium features.
Device data: Push notification tokens and notification preferences (if you enable notifications).

4. Data retention
We retain your account data while active. After deletion, data is deleted or anonymized within a reasonable period, except where required by law.
5. Your rights and choices
You can access, correct, or delete your account from within the app. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails and disable push notifications.
6. Security
We use industry-standard security measures but cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Children
BoardLink is not directed at children under 13.
8. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time.
